Client Request and Project Goals:
The client required a historically accurate 3D dodo bird model with 360-degree animation, incorporating antique textures and dust effects to simulate an aged specimen. The animation aimed to provide viewers with a comprehensive look at the bird from all angles for digital exhibitions and academic presentations.
Workflow and Skills Utilized:
Using Blender, the bird was modeled with careful anatomical accuracy and detailed surface textures. Dust and aging effects were added using texture maps and shader settings to enhance realism. The animation involved a smooth continuous rotation, allowing viewers to explore the model in full 3D.
Lighting and rendering were optimized with Blender’s Cycles engine to highlight textures and atmospheric effects. Client feedback refined dust density, lighting mood, and animation speed.
